Sheila McLellan

Sheila is a Master Social Worker from Walden University. She looks forward to helping you explore various aspects of your life and set goals that will help you live your best life.  Her calling is to encourage you and to be a helper. Together, you and her will work on a plan to help improve or manage your situation. She will help by equipping you with tools to meet your personal goals. She uses various interventions based on the individual.  This includes Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, but not limited to these modalities. She is very passionate about working with adolescents ages 10-21 and couples.

Sheila is an Army Veteran and has worked with multiple populations of people.  She has worked with military families, survivors of domestic violence, survivors of felony-level crimes, children in foster care, adolescents in residential settings, and with college students dealing with social anxiety. In her spare time she enjoys photography, painting, art, and traveling. She looks forward to working with you.
